Conditions of Rental

Deposit

We will confirm your booking on receipt of a 30% deposit. Payment to be made in pounds by cheque, bank transfer or paypal.

Balance

The balance of the outstanding rental is due four weeks before the rental commences; we will send you a reminder as late payment could result in cancellation.

Cancellation

If a cancellation is made more that eight weeks before the start of the rental then the deposit will be forfeited. If a cancellation is made less than eight weeks before the start of the rental then the hirer shall be liable for the full balance.

Electricity, gas & wood

No separate charges are made for the electricity, gas and wood.

Arrival/ departure

The house will be ready for occupation after 15.00. This allows enough time to clean and prepare the house. If you arrive earlier you can leave your luggage at the house. On your departure day, we ask you to vacate the house by 11.00. Bags can be stored in the hall until your departure.

Hirer's responsibility

Please take care of the property and its contents during your stay. Any damage, particularly to electrical equipment, must be reported.

Local Assistance

On arrival you will be met by our British house manager, Martyn or a member of his team. You will be given a contact number in case you need any help or have any problems during your stay.

Extra costs

Any services that incur an extra cost should be settled in cash to our house manager the night before departure.

Children

Are welcome as part of a whole house booking on the understanding that parents take full responsibility for their safety and any damage that is caused. A sofa bed is available for a 3rd child or adult in the Menara room, at an additional charge of £25 per night to include breakfast (no charge for child under 10 years).

House Occupancy

Only the number of persons advised and named on the house rental agreement may occupy the house.
